Marguerite Evans has had a challenging and transformative life journey. Born and raised in South Africa, she faced significant hardships early on, including the loss of her father, molestation, her parents' divorce, and struggles with self-worth and anger. She found freedom and strength in God's transformative love. Marguerite was named First Runner Up to Miss Universe South Africa in 1997. 

Over the past two decades, she has impacted lives globally on five continents. Today Marguerite directs her international ministry for the brokenhearted and persecuted to see them rise up in who God has called them to be. She has begun equipping leaders, from multiple organizations, in the US, and who serve in some of the toughest regions in the world.
 
Utilizing her background in fashion, Marguerite also empowers women through makeover events, promoting the concept of "beYOUtiful" - emphasizing beauty from within. Click here for full bio

Since 2008, Marguerite has integrated makeovers into her ministry, BeYOUtiful, focusing on healing wounded hearts. These transformative events impact both recipients and audiences, combining fashion and beauty with a message of inner beauty. Featured on the CBN 700 Club Interactive Show, makeovers can be part of conferences, seminars, teas, and fashion shows, followed by Marguerite's message of "beauty from the inside out."

“To be honest, I didn’t expect much from my one-on-one time with Marguerite. I figured it would be an awkward get together with someone I barely knew, but God had a surprise for me. Marguerite and I did the meet and greet thing, and then we opened up in prayer. That is when things started to change in my heart and mind. God began to speak to me and reveal moments in my past that needed healing. Through prayer, and open heart, and listening ear, I was able to work through hurts in my life that I haven’t been able to open my heart and mind to before, none less work through them. Trauma is a prevalent yet often overlooked issue in society. Many individuals carry deep emotional wounds, but there is often a lack of effective support in churches and communities.
You can be equipped to help!
Marguerite was invited by the Middle East Women’s Leadership Network for Trauma Healing Training with Farsi-speaking media producers. She later joined a team producing TV shows for the Farsi-speaking world. As a facilitator with the American Bible Society Trauma Healing Institute, she trained diverse groups in the US, Central Asia, and Europe, including homeless individuals. Attendees include writers, missionaries, therapists, counselors, nurses, teachers, and individuals who would like to receive healing for their own heart wounds and/or be equipped to help others. The participatory training helps individuals process their own hurts and learn to assist others. The sessions involve storytelling, group discussions, reflection, and quiet time with God.
