Nations: persecuted church
My flight was redirected to a different airport due to, according to a local, the worst fog in 30 years in my transit city. My prayer was that it may it be a sign of His Presence! Because of the delay I was able to share with a young guy from another faith.
It was a God adventure. There were long lines of people trying to sort out their tickets but a man working for the airline took me to a check in desk with no line, which enabled me to just make my flight to the city I was flying to. His Favor!!
A missionary friend of mine has a house where they take ladies who come out of prison or ladies who needs a safe place to live. One lady was in prison for murder. They all live together and teach them how to sow and make beautiful things which helps support the ministry. It is an incredible work she’s doing there undercover for God.
When I arrived at the house I was so ready for a shower as I’ve been traveling for 2 days but a lady was in incredible pain and they asked if I could minister to her first. They asked me to leave my cell phone in another room as I was already been watched as I text my friend from the airport. The lady was scheduled for surgery, but all the pain left! Thank you, Jesus!!
All the ladies I ministered to one on one were raped at least once before. One did not know her biological dad and both the others lost their dads at around age 11 due to alcoholism. One lady was raped by 6 men and they left her next to the road in snow. She lost both her feet because of frostbite...
All of the ladies received deep healing and God’s peace. Two of them said they felt warm with God’s love. So beautiful, so amazing!! The Lord has been showing me to take from all the training I’ve received in healing of the heart and just follow His lead. That is where freedom is. Many were just crying, processing pain from the past. It is so important to process our emotions, allowing ourselves to feel the pain, the anger that is in our hearts and then giving it to Him. There are lies embedded that keep these emotions alive. Amazing to see the Lord reveal to each one the lies they believed and then to see them receive Truth from Jesus is incredible – transformed lives. In this place they can truly forgive from the heart and let go..
I slept a few hours in the afternoon and ministered until 12:30am and had to get up 3am to leave for the airport to go to another city. My luggage missed the connection so I had to go without my suitcase. I was able to wash the clothes I was wearing ☺
The road in the area my host lived was very bad, there’s no AAA to call to help when one get stuck in the deep groves in the road from all the snow and ice. It was a very cold winters’ morning with mist in the air and everything covered with snow, the streetlights were the shape of lamps with dim light. It looked like another world… I was taking in the moment when all of a sudden a policeman stepped into the road and signaled for us to stop. Not a very comfortable feeling in a country like this. The policeman checked all my friend’s papers. I was surprised by all the documents she had to show. It was a reminder of the controlled society this is. He didn’t ask me anything.
It is an interesting feeling being in an airport where you fit in by the way you look and people try to talk to you in their language but in reality your worlds are worlds apart.
It was still dark when we all sat in the shuttle to go to the plane. It snowed some more during the night. Everyone was quiet, just looking outside. I felt an overwhelming feeling of how each one needs God’s love. It so moved my heart.
At the steps into the plane there were no lines, you sort of push up and make your way into the plane. Everyone was very eager to get out of the cold into the plane.
When our breakfast was almost done an elderly man who sat across from me, one row in front of me turned around, without any eye contact he just put his unopened yogurt, jam and cake on my tray. He was not going to eat it and I assume wanted to bless me with it ☺. After the meal he went to the back and sat there for the rest of the flight. When he came back I could see that he was really drunk. So sad!! For a moment I experienced care from his heart, that is there, but the pain of his life and not knowing God made him the man that seems like so many men are here in this country. So many alcoholics!!
The pastor and his wife picked me up from the airport. Was so good to see them. I stayed with them the last time I was here too. The pastor’s one leg has prosthesis.
Last when I saw him he shared how it is getting more difficult for Christians but they are preparing themselves. He is an incredible man.
Many men, including some pastors here still struggle with anger, only some are walking in healing. I’ve ministered to a few pastors’ wives who asked with tears in their eyes for prayer for their husbands. They are the first generation Christians. I’ve been so impacted by the reality of how abuse is tolerated with the other faith that these people have broken free from.
I thought my arrival day was a rest day but then realized our first meeting started Noon, which was in 3 hrs. I was very aware that I only slept a few hours both previous nights and already ministered quite a bit. I slept for an hour and rested in God’s presence, just being with Him, asking Him to refresh me. The meeting was with pastors’ wives from 4 out of the 7 churches (the other 3 is in the same denomination) in the city of around 400,000 people and one of their leaders from each of those churches. We started with lunch and had a very special time of fellowship. It was evident that these ladies have deep relationships. They are like sisters. Beautiful unity among them.
The morning I felt the Lord wanted me to share on the prophetic – simply how to hear His voice for others. So I did, I shared teaching on how all we share with others need to be from a place of love, calling forth the treasures in peoples’ lives, and also how to raise people up, pastor them in the prophetic and encourage one another in the prophetic. We had an activation time and it was so beautiful!! We ended by 5pm and they asked for me to minister one on one to 3 ladies. I ministered to one lady for 2 hrs. Deep ministry, she was raped and had an abortion. God set her free! but I don’t think I’ve ever been so tired ministering to someone. I knew there was no way I could minister to one more. I fell asleep in the back of the car on our way to the pastor’s house! I went to bed 8pm. I slept for about 11 hrs. Praise the Lord. One lady gave me clothes for my time here to wear. It fitted perfectly!
Today we had 2 meetings. The same women but two different venues for security reasons. The pastor and his wife with whom I’m staying’s church is registered but by law they are only allowed to meet one evening during the week and Sundays. So to have a meeting with a group of people on another day is illegal, but is what we did. They changed venues from the morning to the afternoon. About 30 women came. I saw a vision this morning of everyone receiving in His presence. When worship started I felt very weak but after a while I felt strengthened and started to hug women during worship. Several started to cry. His love was so strong. We lingered in that place and I asked the leaders from the previous day to help me hug women – God’s love was flowing through us to them. I felt it was important for the leaders to minister with me. That flowed into praying for the sick. In between I was sharing as the Lord lead me about His presence and also about healing. Several women received physical healing.
One lady had pain all around her stomach and back, she had a hole in her one ear and was deaf in that ear and her one leg was shorter than the other one. All the pain left, she could hear for the first time through that ear and her other ear popped open she said and her leg grew!! Praise the Lord!!!
Several others’ pain left. I shared how they all have God’s power and anointed their hands with oil as a symbol for them to connect with what they have in the Lord. They were so excited and helped me pray. I wanted to know that they are empowered. We all have the same Holy Spirit. He is the Power that raised Jesus from the dead and He is inside of us. It was amazing!!!!! We also prayed for a lady with one lung whose pain also left. I only had 40 min left so felt for all of them to just rest in God’s presence as He was doing different things in different women. His presence was sooo thick!!! We ended the meeting by everyone praying for each other. Then a lady asked me to pray for her one tube that was blocked and she had cists. She said she felt it open up and all the pain left. Praise the Lord!!!
I love these women!!!! One pastor’s wife’s sister took a 24 hr train ride to be here for the meetings this weekend.
My bags arrived in the other city. Thank you, Jesus!!
This afternoon’s meeting I felt to share on healing of the heart. Again the Lord started to move during worship time. My sharing time ended up with a focus on forgiveness and the Father’s Heart. Most of the women were crying. One lady screamed for a moment as pain left her.
After processing pain and anger, His peace filled the room. Big smiles came. It was incredible. We ended by 6pm and then I ministered one on one to 2 ladies. We got home around 10pm.
Both ladies received deep healing. Again one was sexually abused and one molested. God is so faithful. They both ended feeling light and peaceful – heavy burdens left. Praise the Lord!!
All the ministry was done with a translator.
When we got home I had a very special time with the pastor’s wife. Her English is pretty good. When we get stuck we get the phone dictionary ☺
Today I’m ministering at a church that is in process of their registration process which means they meet in a different house every Sunday so the secret police don’t find out. In the registration process they have to provide church members’ names and addresses. Two members already dropped out due to the threats that came their way because of being part of the church. This pastor is full of life, very special man too.
Monday I have back to back one on one ministry sessions from 8am until I go the airport around 7pm. Tuesday I have again back to back one on one sessions in other city. Of course we’ll break for meals and tea. These people love drinking tea. They have good tea! Wednesday I meet my mom in Germany. Wednesday and Thursday are rest days for me and then we minister in Germany on Friday.
Please keep us in your prayers.
