Our trip to NY was incredible! We ministered in 4 church services and on the streets as the Lord lead.
For some of the Teens on the team it was a turning point in their walk with the Lord. It brought so much joy to my heart to see them step out and give words to people from the front of the church and see people's hearts touched by it. One came to me before the first meeting as he didn't get anything from the Lord to share. We prayed with him and he received a powerful word. Was so amazing!!
It was also some of the adults' first time (youngest team member 14, oldest 68). Some people who received words started crying, others had big smiles on their faces.
It was also my Mom's first time with us to NYC. I had glimpses of where we come from and how many times she could have given up... to be there with her and see how God used her to minister to people and the team, was so precious to me. God is so faithful! He is God of miracles!
There were also several words of knowledge for physical healing. We saw healing and breakthrough.
One lady was sexually abused. We prayed for her after the first service on Sunday. She was still receiving from the Lord when the second started. Deep pain was released during worship. At times she was screaming as the pain was released. It happened during Praise time, so it didn't distract people. Afterwards she looked like a different person. So beautiful!! She looked at me and said "you gave me a make over" in a strong Korean accent. Only God can do that. So good!
Three people from another church joined us. Two were Ukrainian brothers both adopted as teenagers. I asked the oldest one Elliott, 22, to share with me during both Sunday morning services. Powerful testimony. His passion birthed hunger in people. My friend Samantha also shared with us the second service. It always amazes me how Holy Spirit brings it all together. It's all about following His lead. Love it!! At every service I had some of the team share testimony. Each one had a key impact on people. People were hungry for God and wanted prayer from the team.
After every service we prayed for every person who wanted prayer. In the one church, the Pastor was surprised how many people came to the service on the holiday weekend and there were 6 pastors from other churches! He said that has never happened before. One of them was a Baptist pastor who asked him after the first service what it is we do to pray for people afterwards. The pastor explained and that pastor stayed for the second service and came to the front for prayer!
Our team received more invitations.
This was our 3rd time ministering in the 3 churches in Brooklyn. One church wrote this about the team in their bulletin: "Welcome to Gateway! Today we are happy to have with us again Marguerite Evans. Each time she has been here, healing miracles have taken place. She and her team minister so beautifully the love of God in His gentleness. You will experience His peace through her witness."
Josian, Elliott and I went to a hospital to pray for a man who've been bedridden for the last 10 yrs. He felt warmth in his hand, and could move it better than before and with the help of the 2 guys took his first 10 steps in 10 years!! Yeah God!! His wife told us the previous time they tried this he fell down.
The team dinamic was so good. People impacting each other's lives. We had loads of fun. Going around the city with 21 people in a team and we didn't loose one team member – thank you Jesus!
Josiah and I had a water fight around midnight the last night. My version is that I destroyed him ☺ He was soaked. Only my hair and back was wet. The kitchen floor was soaked but another teen got another teen's towel and all our problems were solved, except he had to borrow a towel the next day :)
There were 2 bathrooms but one shower among all of us. There was not one time a problem. Somehow everyone had a shower at some point every day during the day or night :) The hot water never ran out.
I loved every moment. Lives will never be the same. Lasting fruit. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit! Let's do it again :)
Thank you for your support!
